Tomorrow is my orientation for college. I'm excited!!! I'm beyond excited. This is the beginning of a new chapter of my life and I've been imagining what college was gonna be like for me my whole life and I don't know what it's gonna be like but I am excited. In elementary school other kids fantasized about what high school would be like, for me it was college. I did not like high school and I knew I wasn't going to, I was just waiting for college.

I'm sure most of you know this already, but I love horror. I also love absurdist media. Absurdist horror is some of my favorite horror. One short film stuck out to me in all my years of being a horror media enjoyer. That short film is Possibly in Michigan.
Let's go back to September 2019, I had just started coming up with a bunch of my OCs a month prior, this was supposed to be the month of the Area 51 raid (yeah, remember that?) Covid hadn't hit yet, This was the month my gender identity issues truly began, but I wouldn't start using she/her pronouns until September of 2020, I was in 8th grade, I was in band (I didn't like it), My main hyperfixations were Nuclear Throne, Homestuck, and of course... my ocs. I had a small crush on a girl I sat with in English class, whom I was okay friends with but I didn't really speak to her much outside of school and in school I would speak to her maybe once or twice in class. I don't remember the exact date, but for some reason I want to say it was September 6th 2019 (coincidentally enough, I would come out as trans on this date a year later.) A friend of mine had sent me a link to a video called Possibly in Michigan and told me to "watch it but make sure no one is around when you do"
So I did... It was, very bizarre. I was really into the intro song, Animal Cannibal. I had a hard time believing something like this was made in 1983 at first, because of how bizarre and absurd it was. 13 year old me couldn't comprehend something like this being made in the 80s. Sure enough, it was. I had a small obsession with Possibly in Michigan for the rest of the month.
I watched it again, almost 5 years later... my thoughts are the same. It's strange but also a really interesting concept. I highly recommend it, but be careful who you watch it with... it's certainly something :)

Can I admit something kinda stupid?
I'm actually quite scared of thunderstorms. That's not what I was talking about with yesterday being scary though. Some personal things I'd rather not talk about happened yesterday. I'm just not a big fan of July 4th... Sorry to any patriotic American Nora fans. Just not my thing for various personal reasons, and yesterday only cemented my rather mild disdain for the holiday. Fireworks are pretty but damn are they loud too.

I feel weird for being scared of thunderstorms, it's probably nothing to be ashamed but how the hell am I gonna be 18 and still scared of thunderstorms? I don't know... lol am I stupid? Is she stupid? Batman Arkham subreddit is so funny I don't know if you've seen it but you have to it is so damn funny. I've only played a little bit of the first Arkham game, they're pretty cool I highly recommend if you're a Batman fan.
I have all four games on Steam, I bought them as part of a bundle back in November of last year, Mostly because Injustice 2 was part of it. Incredible fighting game by the way, probably my favorite fighting game ever. I wouldn't go that far, maybe I would. It's pretty damn good. I don't know. Lol. Injustice 1's story mode was actually the first video game I ever beat if you could believe it. It was December 23rd 2014, I was 8 years old. It was also my brother's 18th birthday.

There's probably more but I don't know them. I mean yeah there is Pocketcat, but what the hell am I supposed to say about Pocketcat? Come on now lmao. I like Pocketcat's design, but there's a lot to say about Pocketcat, and most of it isn't good. I do also like the Crow Mauler's design the Crow Mauler is pretty cool. A terrifying presence indeed.
I don't like the pulsating stingers though... the guard is creepy. I guess it makes sense. Fear and Hunger is a HORROR game after all. I think it does a pretty good job at that. The second game reminds me so much of Resident Evil 4, despite the obvious Majora's Mask influences. It's actually crazy how much Fear and Hunger Termina was inspired by Majora's Mask but that's a story for another time. I should just shut up now I think.

Nothing to report, this game is just on track to becoming my most played game on Steam after years of Garry's Mod being my most played. I wanna say it was six or so years?

I'm still fungerpilled as hell. I love this game!!!!! I still haven't beaten it though, despite my 30 or so hours at this point. I still need to buy the first game because I've only played the second one. It's pretty great though, and I'm sure the second one is just as good. Who knows??? Woah!!!
