I cried thinking about Gef the Talking Mongoose and how he probably wasn't around to experience The Beatles. I think he would've enjoyed some of their later work, perhaps. I could be wrong though. After all, he is just a mongoose. A mongoose unfortunately voiced by Neil Gaiman in the mockumentary I haven't seen. I don't even know if it's a mockumentary or just some shitty movie loosely based on the legacy of the great Gef the Talking Mongoose, The Dalby Spook. I do believe he could be real, the world is full of fascinating wonders, what's one more? Eight wonders ain't too many. I wanna live in a yellow submarine.
My mom raised me on The Beatles, my friends say it's "child abuse" because for some reason The Beatles get a lotta hate these days. Sure, their early stuff isn't anything special in my opinion at least. But Rubber Soul and onward are just... *chef's kiss*
Do people still use that term? I hope I'm not being cringe on main. Oh, who am I kidding? I'm always cringe on main. The Beatles are goated though, that's the point I'm trying to make. Well, musically at least. John Lennon wasn't a good person, and Ringo wasn't all that great either from what I've heard. Paul and George are cool though. I think. You never know.

I don't love this song as much as I did as a kid but it still holds a special place in my heart. <3
