I think I have a fighting chance! This wasn't an entirely ideal outcome, but as Thundercat once said, "It Is What It Is." It appears that I'm going to be on academic probation, which just means I really really have to get my GPA back up next semester. Deja vu, I know... I've had a rough start in college, but I promise I'm not stupid or incapable, just kinda spiraling trying to figure out what direction I want to take my life.
Speaking of funny albums I enjoy, I listened to Sing to God for the first time since 2021. I remember being 15 and calling it the most wtf album I'd ever heard, it's up there for sure. Just interesting that I called it that because at this point I'd already heard a third of The Residents' studio discography, as well as Five Starcle Men's Gomba Reject Ward Japan. Either way, always a good song when I check the reviews of an album on RateYourMusic and the most recent one opens with "There is a society of bugs living among us."
Also I'm not doing the media log for the rest of the year because I lost track, I'll open it back up next year for sure though pinky promise.
I'm always looking for ways I can improve this journal, especially given the fact that it's a daily thing I'm doing. :P
