I went to another concert. This time my school's ensemble and such. Here's what I wrote:
I found every part of the concert very interesting, and I wasn’t very familiar with this kind of music. The TV medley of course stood out to me the most. I wasn’t familiar with most of those theme songs, aside from Little House and Star Trek, and even then, I didn’t know there were lyrics for the Star Trek theme song. If I grew up in the 1970s, I feel like it would resonate with me more than it did, but it certainly helped me get an understanding of a time I was too young to remember. I also liked how during the Laverne and Shirley theme song the opening chant “1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 Schlemiel, Schlimazel, Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!” was utilized for audience participation, even if I was a little confused about that part at first.
