Soon I'll be reaching my 20th year on this planet, and I'm feeling really weird about it. I don't know, the passage of time is just like that. I'm excited for my birthday, though!! My mom's was yesterday. She was thinking about getting a pet guinea pig. I told her if she did she should name it Kevin. My friend Levi is obsessed with guinea pigs and the name Kevin for some reason. We've started this bit where we call the character Minamitsu Murasa from Touhou Project "Kevin Murasa" and we call Nue Houjuu ET 2 as a reference to the Filthy Frank video. I haven't seen that one in 10 years but the alien mannequin thing was really funny to 10 year old me.
I'm getting some renovations for my bedroom for my birthday, and I'm excited because some of the stuff in my room has been falling apart lately. Also my room just kinda feels small, so I'm gonna take the desk I've got now out of there and put in a new desk that's smaller. I'm gonna need to do a lot of cleaning though probably and I'm a bit lazy when it comes to that at the moment. I can do it, though. I'm determined. I'm excited.
I've just been thinking about a lot of things. My mom and I had a good talk about family, future, and friends. I don't think I'll ever be at peace with how a certain ex of mine treated me but I think talking with my mom about it helped me feel at least a little better for a bit.
She told me about how she liked the girl I had a crush on a lot, thought she seemed cool and nice. Yeah, mom. I did too. I'd still like to be friends with her again at the very least but I wouldn't even know how to reach out.
This is probably gonna be my last Summer off for the rest of my life. Unless I get a job as a teacher like my Dad and get summers off, but that shouldn't be the only reason to become a teacher. There's other reasons I think I'd enjoy the job but I'm not sure honestly. Something I've thought about though.
