You really do learn something new everyday. So I kinda always knew that wikis had been a thing since the 1990s, and Wikipedia came out in 2000 and the name came from internet wikis, but I never knew where the term Wiki came from. Apparently it comes from the Wiki Wiki Shuttle in Hawaii, the name translating to “Very Fast Shuttle!” I think that’s pretty interesting.
