Sooooo yeah :/ the Unofficial Homestuck Collection was taken down, or is being taken down. Not sure. I downloaded it just in time but still very disappointing news.
That's all there really is to say on the matter. No offense but I don't understand why Hussie does everything they can to destroy any good will they have in the fanbase. I dunno.
Anyways I wrote my first proper album review today and it's not very good but I tried.
Nonagon Infinity - Reviewed by Nora Meadow. August 8th 2025
It's been about four years since my first listen, and I'm still just as in love with this as I was then, if not more. This is easily my favorite album from this band, which is no easy feat considering they've put out 27 of these damn things. Even their weakest releases are at least a little enjoyable.
Few albums have stuck with me quite like this one has. It is without a doubt my personal favorite of 2016, maybe even the 2010s as a whole.
There's not a dull moment on here. While I would consider Wah Wah to be the low point of the album, it's still pretty damn great. I'd also like to bring attention to Mr. Beat and Invisible Face, often considered to be some of Nonagon's weaker points, with the former sort of disrupting the flow a bit, I find them to be overlooked bangers. I would even say Mr. Beat is a much-needed break from the chaos of the first four tracks, bringing in a different type of chaos with the missing beats. (get it?) Unorthodox time signatures are nothing new, especially in genres like psychedelic and progressive rock, but this is the first song I've heard that's entirely built around it, with the title even being a tongue-in-cheek nod to it. It's seriously underrated.
Of course, I have to address the elephant in the room, which is the gimmick of this album being essentially "endless," with each track transitioning into the next, with the final track transitioning into the first one. I did not know about this going into the album. I just kept hearing about this band and wanted to listen to what seemed to be their most popular album, but this was a welcome surprise. Even if this wasn't the case, and it was just a standard album that ended properly, I would still think it's an incredible masterpiece, and no amount of poor mixing can change that for me. I'm really glad that this was the album that introduced me to this band, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Media Log 2025 - August 8th:
112. King Gizzard - Nonagon Infinity
2016 Album | Rating: Magnificent
I think I said everything I can about it there. Here's what I wrote about it on Bandcamp though as an added bonus even though it's not saying anything new. "I wish I could hear this again for the first time. Absolutely blew me away. Still a damn masterpiece honestly. NONAGON INFINITY OPENS THE DOOR!"
113. Black Sabbath - Vol. 4
1972 Album | Rating: Awesome
No one did it quite like Ozzy, I'm not sure if I'd rank this above or below Paranoid but just to be safe I'll say below.
- Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
- Paranoid
- Vol. 4
- Sabotage
- Self-Titled
- Master of Reality
