Overall I personally really enjoyed The Amazing Digital Circus and I would give the show as a whole either a high 8/10 or a low 9/10.
My biggest issue personally is the pacing and I do very much respect Goose's vision for the show and only wanting to do 9 episodes (I read somewhere she actually only wanted to do 8 at first) and I don't think she's a bad writer by any means but I think if there were a couple more episodes in between 5 and 6 a lot of the issues with the writing might've been fixed but that's just how I see it.
After watching the finale for myself my takeaway is that Jax is a cautionary tale more than anything. She pushed away people who genuinely cared about her and treated everyone around her horribly out of fear and her own insecurities and refusal to accept herself. This doesn't excuse or justify her actions though, quite the opposite I would say.
but idk that's just how I see it.
