Dear Diary,

Halloween! I did not dress up... I'm sad because I didn't dress up. I'm green and retired. OneyPlays reference. My girlfriend dressed up and she was really pretty.  I'm back on glutenpee again. I uhhh had a little bit to say, but you already know how that goes.

"I started college. My ADHD has made it a liiiittle difficult but hey I’m trying… not doing so well in math tho >_< everyone seems nice though but I haven’t really gotten to know anyone that much yet. Went on my first ever actual date two months ago today. That was amazing my girlfriend is so cool and we cuddled on the couch for like 30 minutes umm yeah then a couple weeks later we kissed for the first time in a shed next to a dead bee. I spent a night in the hospital! Would rather not talk about that one in too much detail but that really sucked. Also I voted for the first time last week! ^_^ Which is funny because I wrote my essay for english class on why the electoral college is severely flawed :O I think that’s all sorry for being dead guys thought I’d catch up with y’all briefly :3"

Started playing Pokemon Go again after a couple years. Lowkey I wanna try completing the national Pokedex in Pokémon Home but that'll take forever, years probably. I don't know. I don't care about catching them all too much. The games are just really fun to me. The new ones are honestly fine in my opinion, I like Scarlet and Violet. It's still pretty buggy and all that shit which makes it less fun but I enjoyed the story and the gameplay is still really fun. Legends Arceus was a huge step in the right direction, and I have hope for the future of these games if they would just stop being so rushed.

Dear Diary,

I still can’t believe Akira Toriyama is gone. It’s been nearly 8 months now and I still haven’t gotten over it. Dragon Ball was one of those things as a kid that I was able to connect with others over. Up until middle school at least. Although I wasn’t allowed to watch much anime because it aired on Adult Swim’s “Toonami” block. Dragon Ball is one of those though that seems like it’s never really gone away. Like One Piece was big for a while, I didn’t hear about it for a bit, then all of a sudden it becomes popular again. Same thing with Hunter x Hunter. Dragon Ball was always big though.

Naruto’s been a joke for years now, and it’s probably deserved. I wouldn’t know, I don’t watch much anime. Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon were just huge for me as a kid. I still kinda like it I guess, I dunno. I’ve never seen so many people come together to mourn someone’s loss like I have Toriyama, though. He clearly touched the lives and hearts of so many people. His influence is alive in many ways, too. Ever heard the word “brolic” before? Probably not, it’s New York slang for someone who is muscular or strong. The word comes from the Dragon Ball character Broly.

Exploitopia released the other day, Chromakopia comes out tomorrow. I haven't really found the time to check out all this new music. It's unfortunate, but that's life. Guess who tried finishing her essay but the stupid website is down? Guess who tried finishing her math homework but she can't log in? This is so frustrating because this shit is like REALLY important and it's partially my fault because I'm a dumbass who can't get her shit in on time but I don't know what else to do at this point I've tried fucking everythiiiiing. I guess I need to be more prepared for something like this next time. I need to plan ahead, God Dammit I'm so fucking stupid!!!!! Why do I do these things? Why am I so fucking lazy?!

I feel like such a disappointment to everyone. I don't know what to do. I've tried and tried and tried to log in but to no avail. There's no sense crying over it anymore. It is what it is. The electoral college is so bullshit because I know for a fact the vote that I just cast as well as the votes my parents cast won't count for shit because we live in a gerrymandered to fuck and back red state that will vote for a convicted felon and rapist before they vote for a black woman. Fuck Gerrymandering, Fuck Donald Trump, Fuck the electoral college. That's what I really want to say. If I had full freedom over my essay I would just write that shit lmao that's my true unadulterated thoughts. I have to be professional though. Even on this blog I try to maintain professionalism. This blog looks like a unicorn's wet dream. Professional my ass. Whatever, I have fun writing in this diary... blog... thing... whatever. The goal of this is not to come off as some professional hardass who cares a lot about her writing and reputation and such because I do like my writing is very important to me regardless of how seriously I may take it. Truth be told I do take this shit seriously even if it doesn't seem like it because your idea of important and my idea of important are probably different!!! I enjoy writing I have a strong passion for it and honestly I hate bragging but I do think I am pretty good at it when I "take it seriously" but I like to have fun and mess around with this shit why shouldn't I? Today was very exciting. I participated in the democratic process. I voted, baby! I feel amazing about this, I don't think my vote will count because I live in a red state. The Electoral College needs to be abolished, by the way. That's a topic for another time, though. I have hope, I have hope that even if my vote doesn't count here, the votes of those like me will. That we will win this fight. Even if we don't win this fight, in the end we'll win the war. I may not agree with Kamala Harris on a lot of things, but she's a lot better than Trump.

Dear Diary,

I cried thinking about Gef the Talking Mongoose and how he probably wasn't around to experience The Beatles. I think he would've enjoyed some of their later work, perhaps. I could be wrong though. After all, he is just a mongoose. A mongoose unfortunately voiced by Neil Gaiman in the mockumentary I haven't seen. I don't even know if it's a mockumentary or just some shitty movie loosely based on the legacy of the great Gef the Talking Mongoose, The Dalby Spook. I do believe he could be real, the world is full of fascinating wonders, what's one more? Eight wonders ain't too many. I wanna live in a yellow submarine.

My mom raised me on The Beatles, my friends say it's "child abuse" because for some reason The Beatles get a lotta hate these days. Sure, their early stuff isn't anything special in my opinion at least. But Rubber Soul and onward are just... *chef's kiss* 

Do people still use that term? I hope I'm not being cringe on main. Oh, who am I kidding? I'm always cringe on main. The Beatles are goated though, that's the point I'm trying to make. Well, musically at least. John Lennon wasn't a good person, and Ringo wasn't all that great either from what I've heard. Paul and George are cool though. I think. You never know.

Don't tell Victini, but I think I have a new favorite Pokemon. Heracross. I'm a huge fan of beetles and giant bugs and Heracross doesn't disappoint. Pinsir doesn't either, but Heracross is better. I'm working on my potential schedule for next semester, if I don't fail any classes here that is. I'm thinking Public Speaking, Modern World History, English Composition II, Intro to Cultural Anthropology, and Beginner French I. I like this schedule but the French class probably should be switched to Spanish which I have familiarity with, y'know? I have to take a foreign language though, as well as Public Speaking. Modern World History and English Comp II are because I took Early World History and English Comp I this semester, and I just wanted to take Anthropology hehe. As long as my professor isn't Betty White, that is...

Dear Diary,

I think a lot about Lemon Demon and how important this silly little music has been important to me for so much of my life now. I first discovered Neil Cicierega’s work through Potter Puppet Pals in 2013, and started listening to his music in like 2016 I think. I believe the first song I heard was 123456 Pokémon, and there’s a video somewhere out there of 10 year old me singing a really bad cover of the song. A kid showed it to one of my teachers in 5th grade and she showed it to the whole class. My parents still talk about how I would always say "Don’t Worry, Bill Murray!"

It’s probably *gasp* lost media now!! I deleted it long ago because I was embarrassed by it. I sorta regret it though. The kinda thing I’d love to show to my future kids someday when they’re the age I was. I’m not writing this to talk about that one song I kinda went on a tangent here. The point is I just find it crazy that Neil’s silly little music and even his non-musical work has been such a huge part of my life for a long time. I never listened to Spirit Phone until 2019 but it was the album that got me into music as a whole basically. Well, along with Justice’s "Cross" and Jack Stauber’s "Pop Food"

My music taste is probably embarrassing but hey, it’s my music taste and I enjoy it. In that case, why should I care if other people find it "corny" or "reddit" or whatever buzzwords they’ve decided they’ll use to define me by my interests before even getting to know me as a person? People on the internet are so weird about music taste. The 4chan /mu/ rateyourmusic elitists are annoying, but the people who constantly trash talk them and their taste are just as annoying. I miss when you could actually just like music without it being a big deal or some kinda statement.

Yeah, BlueSky is definitely a better Twitter. I like how it promotes a bunch of cool artists and game devs to me. I think I found my place here. Also I feel much more welcomed around here being a nerdy trans girl and all. There's unfortunately no SeiyaPosting which makes me sad because that's one of my favorite twitter accounts. Also Inanimate Insanity The Movie Act 3 was confirmed to come out in November. Exciting!!! The ending of Act 2 broke me so much dude. I didn't even cry or anything I just felt so empty. I'm really glad that's not how the whole thing ends though. 

I wanna get better at art tbh. I wanna draw my cute little webcomic concept I've had for years now. I think 

I'm a pretty good writer, but I don't have the artistic skills to back it up. Anyways, I've been looking into silly little games like Webfishing. It looks really cute and chill and silly.
