Can I confess something? Is this a judgement free zone. I just learned today that Mr. Bungle and Faith No More have the same singer. I had people who didn't even listen to either band telling me they knew that and here I am not knowing that! The thing is I don't really listen to FNM much aside from their song Epic, so I never cared enough to research them I guess. Mike Patton is great though. 

There’s a new F&H2: Termina update coming soon that’s supposed to add new B endings for the characters depending on your choices and I’m really excited to see how it changes my perspectives and headcanons on the fates of the contestants.

Y’know, I actually feel pretty good today. Not sure why, I looked at myself in the mirror this morning and said “Hey, I’m pretty!” which doesn’t happen often. I’m happy about that. Maybe my days are finally starting to brighten? 

Last thing before I sign off, I saw a website that let you make a chart of your 9 favorite Touhou characters and here’s mine!

Honestly, not sure if I agree with the order. Wriggle is definitely first but I would also probably put Satori and Yuuka higher than sixth and ninth respectively. Maybe I’ll do another full Touhou character ranking next. That’ll have to be after I’m done with the Spanish test, though. Oh, yeah. I haven’t taken it yet, I decided to take it tomorrow because I have to catch up on some stuff for other classes, it seems like a weird decision and honestly it might be a bit of a risky move but I think ultimately it’ll be the best possible option for my grades

I took my European Literature test today. Here's hoping I did well because I didn't know what I was talking about half of the time. I still need to get caught up and start reading Dante's Inferno but my work is so behind because I had that test to take and I have Spanish tomorrow, honestly I'm really tired. It's very interesting stuff, though. 

I feel like I'm learning a lot recently, and I dunno I'm just starting to feel a little more hopeful about things, I haven't felt this good in a while. The character design presentation was very informative and I think I'm going to apply some of those tips now. I'm thinking about what they said and analyzing the designs of various characters I like and noticing things I didn't before. 

One more thing, Sora AI is shutting down!!! This is honestly the best damn news of the year so far, maybe things will finally start to look up. Probably not, but hey who knows? I'm staying optimistic, we're so back.

We read Part 1 of Kafka's Metamorphosis for one of my English classes today, and we started reading Dante's Inferno in another one of my English classes! I really like both so this is shaping up to be one of my favorite weeks of the semester for sure. I already read Metamorphosis back in 2024 because I wanted to impress this girl I had a crush on (same one I've talked about in length) but I was too scared to talk to her and I'm pretty sure she didn't care about any of that shit anyway, honestly it had nothing to do with her I just told myself it did because I wanted an excuse to read the big fucking bug story while simultaneously being unable to take my mind off of her. 

I'm gonna try to make tomorrow's art club meeting but I do have an important exam I gotta take before, so I don't know what's going to happen. It's another character design thing. I would show off some of my older art but I'm still not entirely confident in my artistic ability. Nonetheless I'll take notes on how I can improve! I'm not gonna like my art until I can improve my art! :3

You might wonder why I'm even doing this whole art club thing if I'm so insecure about my art, well I want to get better and I also want to make friends with likeminded interests. Is that such a crime? I still haven't told them I'm trans yet it's not even about the coming out part I just feel weird explaining that I have a main Discord + Instagram account and I joined the group chats on both on my secondary closeted account. It makes me sound like some kinda freak, but whatevs.

So, Chuck Norris died. Can’t believe Gandalf the Grey, Gandalf the White, Monty Python and the Holy Grail’s Black Knight, Benito Mussolini, The Blue Meanie, Cowboy Curtis, Jambi the Genie, RoboCop, Terminator, Captain Kirk, Darth Vader, Lopan, Superman, Every Single Power Ranger, Bill S. Preston, and Theodore Logan, Spock, The Rock, Doc-Ock, and Hulk Hogan finally got his cowboy ass. Seriously, though. It’s crazy seeing the guy who was memed so hard for being this badass unkillable legend for most of my childhood pass away. I’ve heard he wasn’t all that good of a person, but still insane to me. 

 

I already selected The Ultimate Showdown for song of the day back in May, which was less than a year ago, so it goes against my rule on repeats having to be over a year apart. However, there’s a loophole, my friend. I can still use a cover of the song. This is a self-imposed rule anyway, I just think it would be kinda bullshit if I repeated songs less than a year apart. I’m still on the fence about repeating songs in the first place, but as you can see I’ve done it a lot because it makes this whole thing easier for me. 

 

I feel like I do too many repeats anyway, but I actually don’t really care. When was the last one I did anyway? Only 9 days ago? Oh, damn.

Honestly, not sure if I should stay on Dreamwidth anymore. I’m considering moving back to blogger after all the age verification stuff going on. I already can’t use SpaceHey without a VPN because it’s blocked in my area, and I wouldn’t be surprised if I lose access to Dreamwidth too in the near future. It sucks that this is the reality we live in nowadays, I hate how overly corporate the internet is, I hate how the internet is basically unusable without being flooded with a constant barrage of ads and they still want us to sacrifice our privacy and anonymity. While I respect sites like Dreamwidth and SpaceHey for not complying with the bullshit, it’s unfortunate that they’re blocked in certain areas and it probably won’t be long before I have to return to Blogger. I’m just contemplating for now, it was fun while it lasted. Hehe.

 

At least I got an 84 on my Philosophy exam, that was good. I also had a nice talk with one of my classmates for an assignment and found out we’re kinda similar, except for the fact that he’s about six years older than me. He seems nice though. I seriously need to lock in for these classes or I’m so screwed. I have a plan though, I’m gonna get through this because I’m such a smart smart genius lady! ^_^

 

I will be posting the horsey ranking on the 22nd, I’m not too confident on some of my placements but I feel pretty good about it. Oguri Cap is at 67th once again. six seveennn. This is like the third time it’s happened now she’s six seven girl in my rankings. She should probably be higher since she has her own anime and is one of the first umas I ever bore witness to but whatver. 67 is still good and I feel like the 66 in front of her kinda deserve it. Happy Birthday Queen!

Happy Birthday to the queen herself, Ms. Chiaki Nanami. Oh, and Chihiro Fujisaki too, of course. I love them both so so much, but Chiaki is such an important character to me and my self discovery. I don’t even really like Danganronpa as much as I used to but she’s still one of my favorite characters ever, and I’m so excited for more of her in 2x2. I still can’t believe 2x2 is a thing, not only that but we still don’t know when it’s coming out! It’s probably a December release date and they’re too nervous to tell us…teehee. 

I don’t get how some people don’t like Chiaki. There might not be much to her outside of the whole “sleepy cute gamer girl” but she’s so sweet and caring and clearly the rest of class 77 cared deeply for her and she cared deeply for them. I don’t know it’s not like I should even give a damn about Danganronpa in the big 26 anymore anyway.

Of course, I do have an unhealthy amount of nostalgia for my 2018-2020 Danganronpa phase. It still holds a special place in my heart even though there are a lot of things objectively wrong with Danganronpa. Especially Ultra Despair Girls, I still shudder thinking about it. 

It’s 9 months until the real best Danganronpa character GUNDHAM TANAKA gets his birthday. Chiaki and Chihiro are second and third favorites though. I should really remake my Danganronpa ranking. >_<

I can't believe BFDIA is finally ending, I first came across BFDI early into its hiatus in January of 2014, and I was kinda upset that it seemed like BFDIA would not continue at the time, and yeah three years later they dropped IDFB instead, and then dropped that after one episode for BFB. It wasn't until 2023 they decided to start releasing new BFDIA, and now its at the final two. I voted for Book, although I really would be happy with her or Needle winning. Such a goated final two. Actually all of the final six were goats of the series and some of my favorite characters even when I was a kid. Needle, Coiny, Pin, Tennis Ball, Book, Fries. I used to roleplay as Fries on Google+ back in 2014-2015. Man it's hard to believe I'm finally seeing a conclusion to BFDIA. Something I never thought would've happened when I was a kid. But I'm so glad they finally came back to it. ^_^

So, I’ve been thinking about how I still haven’t gotten around to watching the most recent episode of Inanimate Insanity that came out three months ago. I just haven’t been as invested in season 4… I have my predictions but I honestly don’t know what’s going to happen.

 

It’s weird because I was kinda hoping there wouldn’t be a competition and it would just be more of a slice of life thing but the first episode where there was no competition felt empty if I’m being completely honest. It’s just this weird paradox honestly.

Regional Variants

Thinking about redoing my old favorite Pokémon of each type list to include regional variants because I really like some of them. I think regional variants are the best thing that Game Freak could’ve done for the franchise in the past decade or so. I like a lot of them more than the original Pokémon, such as Alolan Ninetales for example.

 

Although when it comes to Kantonian, Galarian, and Alolan Meowth I think I like all three equally, Meowth is just a great Pokémon.

I was perfectly fine with staying off the app for the rest of my life and then she begged me to get it. I could’ve just obliged and stayed off the app but I did meet some nice people on there.
