History Exam

I think I did pretty well on my history exam. At least, I hope I did. I don't know!!! I'm praying at least. I studied pretty hard but there were a few things I forgot and just had to guess on. The testing center is nice though, it's easy to focus in there. I'm definitely gonna keep going there to take tests like this, there's so few distractions I think it could help quite a bit!

A close long-time online friend of mine released two albums at the beginning of the month. So far I've only listened to her first album, nowhere, but it was PEAK!!!!!!!!! You may know pixeliien aka Maggie Jewell from her Novella Amour, Armageddon! or perhaps even the cover art for Ivy Hope's Beneath the Surface: A FernHill County Story. Regardless, you should listen to this album.

I plan on checking out her other album as soon as I can find the time and I'll share my thoughts about that one as well...

Anyways gonna give my thoughts on every song. Please note that I am not good at talking in depth about things. I like these songs because they sound good but I hope my words regarding them can convince you to check them out, because "I think it sounds good :)" likely won't cut it. 

Also I'm doing my usual ratings system thing as always its not really that important i dont take it that seriously i just have to rate everything because it feeds some weird part of my brain that is obsessed with numbers and shit like that but the ratings aren't really all that significant I just feel like it gives a bit of clarity on my thoughts yknow but it really isnt meant to be taken seriously ok thats all disclaimer over now onto the uhh yeah

Track 1 - Crash

To create and share art is a very vulnerable thing. Especially when it's something as deeply personal as this. I'm going to try to be careful with my words here, I really don't want to say anything that could be taken the wrong way because I really truly love this album. I don't knowwww.

Track 2 - F2 Pineapple

Probably the catchiest song on here, I'm probably gonna be finding this stuck in my head for the next few weeks.

God, this hits a little close to home. We don't need to get into that right now, but agghh.

This album hits really hard and hits really close to home. Especially this song and the previous one, god it hurts.

I kinda relate to this? I'm not sure, I've had crushes in the past that made me feel like this in a way, but in my case it's different. Again I don't wanna get into it here.

Track 7 - Tacenda

A soft, almost lullaby-like song in contrast to the rest of the album, I think. Also, a lot of callbacks to previous songs on the album. I'm a stupid gay nerd so I LOVE when artists do this.

Track 8 - Resurrect Me

There's something so painfully beautiful about the repeated lyrics in this one. Like a sense of sorrow and desperation.

Overall - 10/10!!! Legitimately, I love this so much. Incredible debut album, Maggie! I can't wait to see what's in store for the future.

My Instagram was banned for like... three minutes? I'm not really sure what I did, I appealed and got it unbanned, but that was pretty odd. I can't comment for 3 days so it might have something to do with that. I'm a known yapper and sometimes I like ragebaiting, but it's generally innocuous stuff. I'm not being straight up offensive like some other people I've encountered in Instagram comments, usually I just comment stupid takes about music and such to make people mad. Half of the time I don't even believe them. Usually it's Anthony Fantano viewers because barely any of his fans can have an opinion of their own, they just parrot his takes. That's why I got a little nervous when his Lincoln review showed up in my recommended. It's the same garbage with Brad Taste viewers too. At least Fantano seems like a decent person and not a crashout like Brad Taste. At least Brad Taste's Mollusk review was pretty good. 

I also unlocked Kit in Brawl Stars today, I got him in a legendary drop.

So I was really into Gorillaz in Middle School. I also had the hugest crush on this girl I sat next to in English class. (Same girl I talked about having a crush on early last year. I've liked her on and off for almost six years now and I'm still scared to talk to her.)

today is the one year anniversary of me meeting she who must not be named :P 

i don't miss her, i miss the nice things i felt with her. it was all a facade though... she was incredibly manipulative and some of the things she did are like borderline abuse. The constant pestering for nudes and stuff and just ugh... I know I had my faults but what the fuck... not to mention how much she loved dismissing every concern I had. but go on and tell me about how you "love on a deep level". psh....regardless I wish her the best and hope and pray that she can learn from everything she put me through.
